Services: Wellness Center
Membership for registered credit students in the ACC Wellness Center
at no additional cost is a benefit of the Student
Services Fee.
 Health and fitness programs are developed and designed to meet
the needs of both the students of Alpena Community College and the
community. It is located adjacent Park Arena on the ACC campus.

Equipment
The Wellness Center offers a variety of the newest equipment on
the market to best meet your needs.
Cardiovascular Weight Training
- Treadmills
- 14 Pieces of Camstar weight training equipment designed to provide
emphasis on specific muscle groups
- Stair Climbers
- Elliptical Trainer
- Bikes - Airdyne and recumbant
Monitoring Devices
- Target Heart Rate/Pulse Monitors
- Blood Pressure Machine
- Body Fat Analysis
- Scale
Therapy-Related
Thera Bands - exercise bands with progressive resistance for toning
and strengthening muscles. Often used during rehabilitation after
injuries or surgery
Physio Therapy Ball - This ball is used in a variety of exercises
to help with balance/coordination and muscle toning and strength.
