ACC
offers an associate in arts (AA) degree, three two-year associate in applied
science (AAS) degrees, and a one-year certificate program that focus on
specialty areas in the field of business information systems. The
administrative assistant, medical information specialist, and office information
technology specialist programs are accredited by the Association of Collegiate
Business Schools and Programs, in addition to North Central Accreditation.
BIS students
participate in internships as part of their programs and gain real-world
experience on-the-job. Opportunities are available to earn
internationally-recognized certifications in desktop computer skills. Our
students can be members of Kappa Beta Delta, ACC's on-campus business honor
society. You may be eligible for advanced placement or credit in certain
courses through articulation agreements with Alpena, Gaylord and Rogers City
High Schools.
