REGISTER ONLINE FOR SUMMER AND FALL
2009 CLASSES
ONLINE REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Students must be “returning” students to utilize web
registration.
- Students must have a new Admission application on file with
the college if not in attendance in the past 2 years.
- Students must have an active WebAdvisor account.
- Placement testing – see Compass
Placement Test FAQ for requirement details.
- Advising is recommended for 12 or more credit hours or
enrollment in English or Math courses.
- Students with “financial obligations” will not be allowed to
register until obligation is cleared.
- Tuition payment due at established deadline.
- Online registration is not available for Dual Enrolled High
School students, restricted programs (Registered and Practical
Nursing, Utility Technician, Automotive and Concrete Technology)
or specialized courses such as internships, directed studies,
etc.
- Students must complete course prerequisites.

PAYMENT
Payment is by check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover,
American Express, or financial aid at the time of registration.
Michigan Merit/Michigan Promise Award recipients must present at the time of
registration a copy of their certification showing ACC as the
receiving institution. On-line credit card payments are now accepted through
WebAdvisor.
Cash is accepted at the Alpena Campus;
however, no cash payments are accepted at the Huron Shores
Campus. Your cooperation is appreciated.
TUITION REFUND POLICY:
Full refund (100%) of all tuition paid will be issued if a Drop/Add
Form is processed and given to the Campus Services Office (Van Lare
Hall 108) in Alpena or the Huron Shores Campus Office at Oscoda by
the proper date. Enrollment and refund dates vary for courses that
end before or extend past the regularly scheduled periods. Contact
the Campus Services Office (108 VLH) or the Huron Shores Campus
Office for enrollment and refund deadlines.
Registration Policies:
Registration for classes takes place before the start of each semester;
dates and times are published in the semester schedule and advertised.
New student orientation is held to assist first-time students with
the registration process and academic advising. Consult the semester
schedule or contact the Campus Services Office on the Alpena Campus
or the Huron Shores Campus Office, Oscoda.
